Planner, Trant Engineering, Fawley Refinery Maintenance

Outline:

Reporting to the Site Manager and our client ExxonMobil; I am responsible for the Planning all Civil Engineering projects for Trant Engineering at Fawley Refinery.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Trant’s planning representative for all project start-up meetings
  • Planning logical pre-construction schedules which consider; Critical Path, Float & Time Risk Allowance
  • Liaising with Field Engineers to review planning deliverables and construction methodology
  • Regular on-site visits to monitor the progress of project
  • Tracking, updating schedules during the construction phase
  • Producing progress reports and resource lookaheads
  • Reporting on early warnings and compensation events
  • Reporting on the progress of all projects during client meetings
  • Representing the company at all site wide planning meetings with our client ExxonMobil
  • Co-ordinating with the client to prioritise weekly ad-hoc civils jobs
  • Helping to prepare tender programmes when required
  • Tasked with the continuous improvement of planning practices for Trant and Fawley Refinery
  • Responsible for the roll-out of the Advanced Work Package (AWP) planning method
