DynaRoad

DynaRoad is a project management software for infrastructure construction. It has special tools for planning earthmoving in road and railway projects.

In DynaRoad:

  • Task durations are based on quantities and production rates. Quantities are specified on location/chainage-level.
  • Tasks are scheduled based on dependencies and resources. Dependencies can be specified on location/chainage-level.
  • Mass haul is automatically optimized based on cut and fill suitabilities, haul distances and costs, locations and task schedule. Detours, crushing and stockpiling can also be modeled.
  • Progress is monitored based on quantities. Completed work is compared to the planned one, and task forecasts are presented graphically. Actual hauls can also be tracked to ensure planned use of material.
  • Project information can be reused in future projects by using templates, which store items such as calendars, cut and fill suitabilities, resources and crews.

The plans can be examined in several text reports and graphical views. All views can be printed or saved to a PDF file. Examples of DynaRoad views:

  • Gantt view
  • Time-chainage view, with the possibility to show several roads at the same time.
  • Map view, which shows project locations and tasks on top of a PDF map, colored based on planned activity or current progress.
  • Resource usage view

All views and other windows have online help and the program has built-in assistants to guide through haul planning and project scheduling.
