Adding Password to Microsoft Project File

QUESTION:

Is there any ways to put password to Microsoft project file?

ANSWER:

While saving the file use, File > Save As.  Click on Tools (Found in the top right) > General Options > Protection password.

You can backup the MPP file too with ticking on the backup option there, if required.
