SAFRAN SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS...

As reported on November 25, 2011 Safran has, together with Cadmatic Oy, created a 4D project management solution.

First implementation has now started at one of our Nordic customers and we expect the solution to be in production during the Spring time. In the implementation project planners are offered a possibility to visualize the scheduling of the project by providing a 3D model of the construction project at any given time.

The model will also visualize progress of the project during the engineering phase by indicating in the model delayed and early activities.

It is expected to allow the project managers and planners a better overview and control of the project by providing a practical view of the status.  Read more about as or join our Planning Planet Network Group.

MAYBE WE SHOULD HAVE SHOUTED ABOUT IT MORE!!!!! The Guild Launched the Standards of Practice (SoP) for Planning & Scheduling at the event - currently awaiting peer-edit, this document will be sent electronically to Guild Members and Sponsors.

Shortly the same will be made available for Forensic Analysis and Contract Management.
