Machine Rail Mounted Hydraulic Grab

Rate of 30 - 50 m3 of sand per hour (dependant upon depth), with 1.5 m3 made (2.0 m3 bucket) with each machine lift. Giving a required lift rate of 2.4 mins.

A rate of 37 m3/hr (per rig) was achieved on HK Station box excavation. This was achieved with inadequate supervision and and long breaks etc. The standard lift time was 3 mins.
