Senior Planning Engineer (Acting Planning Manager)

Projects: Main Contractor for current project, Reef Residence Tower (Value: $ 50 Million)

  • Manage baseline programme (Clause 14.1) & revised baseline programme (Clause 14.2) for the project including resource allocation/loading based on bill of quantity and productivity rate of the company.
  • Develop tender programme including related documents for tendering purposes.
  • Develop recovery/ acceleration programs to mitigate incurred delays.
  • Develop advance Excel Macro programming report (planned vs actual) prior to progress monitoring and implementation.
  • Develop and implement Progress Tracking and Performance Analysis methodologies using Earned Value. Management, Cost Performance Index (CPI) & Schedule Performance Index (SPI) techniques.
  • Develop critical indicator sheets/ histograms/ manpower & material requirements to higher management.
  • Develop & monitor two-week look-ahead plans, ensuring availability of resources & approved documents.
  • Prepare Extension of Time Claims, Reports & Time Impact Analysis.
  • Present, converse and explain the site progress and if any cause of delay/ahead activity prior to project’s completion date to the client during the weekly progress meeting using PowerPoint and other presentation materials.
  • Produce higher management report (weekly) and monthly progress and management brief reports.
  • Participate in contractual correspondences related to time and letters for notice of delays to the concern parties and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate with the management and construction team with site visits/inspections to gather/validate information and update work progress/program prior to weekly and monthly reports
  • Participate in all necessary meetings for the project internally and externally.
