Global Supply Network Division PMO

Joined the team as a project management analyst for providing support to project managers on various projects. Was given the opportunity to lead one of the projects whose project manager decided to quit. Managed to bring the team's moral back by encouraging and motivating the team which helped the team successfully deliver the project on time and within budget. Was later promoted to a project manager role to lead other key initiatives. 

Main Achievements                                                                                                              

·        Currently leading a key enterprise initiative Business to Business Node to Network (B2B N2N) which has brought together the formation of a team representing different functional areas of the enterprise including, members from Business development, Accounts Payable, IT (GIS), Transportation, Supply Chain & Logistics.

·        Researched and refined existing project planning methodology which helped the teams clearly identify and align project scope and deliverables with key business value.

·        Planned and conducted project planning sessions for various procurement projects and helped teams in building fully networked and fully integrated master schedules and key milestone schedules.

·        Assessed resource allocations and used lag on schedule to resource load the plan to avoid any resource allocation and to use resources appropriately.

·        Presented the refined project planning methodology during GSND division meeting which was identified as one of the key quarterly achievements of PMO.

·        Recognized by peers as an expert on using Primavera (P6) and MS Project.

·        Proactively identified risks and issues within project schedule and other areas of project management plan and recommended possible solutions and escalated the same to respective functional areas which helped the teams avoid delays to key milestones.

·        Trained project team members on project management tools and processes that are to be used throughout project life cycle.

·        Regularly reports project progress to steering committee and stake holders by partnering with leads from other functional areas.

·        Lead PMO team in refining existing project scope management process by developing a new process, process flow chart and approval criteria’s and obtained approval for the newly defined process from GSND leadership.

·        Performed change impact analysis as part of project change control board for all requested changes causing any negative impacts to project constraints and escalate the same to the stakeholders for approval.

·        Facilitated and supported implementation of Global Supply Network Division Transformation Framework (GSND TF) methodology for Project Management.
