Role:    KPL Engineering and Construction Project Scheduler

 

Responsibility: Develop project schedule (plans) and monitor performance for each of the                                    Engineering and Construction projects, with primary focus in the Southern                                       Operating Group.

 

Expectations:

           

  • Provide key and timely assistance to Director of Engineering and report project status to Project Managers and Project Controls.

 

  • Build schedules based on information supplied from multiple sources- such as Drafting, Procurement, ROW, Inspectors, Estimates, inputs from Project Managers & Electrical Capability.

 

  • Utilize Scheduling Software to Develop detailed Project Execution Plans (PEP) for critical projects.

 

  • Perform critical path and project float analysis, risk assessment, project performance analysis and participate in development and implementation of improved scheduling processes.  Conduct EVMS Analysis where applicable.

 

  • Monitor the execution of the construction schedule plan, update baseline changes as they may occur and publish Project Status Reports at key stages of the project or as requested.

 

  • Apply resource loading methods to applicable project, including Engineering, Inspectors, Construction Crews and Materials/Equipment.

 

  • QA/QC all Contractor Schedules
