December 2011 – present – Senior Planning Engineer

Senior Planning Engineer with OMV for the Nawara Development & STGP (South Tunisia Gas Pipeline) Projects consisting in Gas wells, Flowlines, Gas Plant and Export Pipelines in Tunisia (~350Km 28”). Part of the PMT Team and responsible for the evaluation of FEED schedules and Progress, Tenders (schedule, planning, progress reporting, etc), production of Lev.1-2 Overall Schedule. Evaluation of Contractors’ schedules, reports and procedures. EPC Contractors Progress assessment and verification of compliance with Project requirements. Tender preparation and Bids evaluation. Overall co-ordination of planning. Direct interface with Project Manager, Service Manager and all technical groups

September 2010 – November 2011 – Senior Planning Engineer

Senior Planning Engineer with Bechtel for the EPCM contract of Borouge 3 Project consisting in 4 Polyolefins Plants and 1 LDPE Plant in Ruwais (U.A.E.).

Approximately 1.6MM Euro. Part of the PMT Team and responsible for the evaluation of Tenders (schedule, planning, progress reporting, etc), production of Lev.1-2 Overall Schedule. Evaluation of Contractors’ schedules, reports and procedures. EPC Contractors Progress assessment and verification of compliance with Project requirements. Overall co-ordination of planning. Direct interface with Project Manager, Service Manager and all technical groups

April 2010 – September 2010 – Senior Planning Engineer

Senior Planning Engineer with SNC-Lavalin for the EPCM contract of JIFCO (Jordan India Fertilizer Company) Project consisting in a Phosphoric Acid Plant in Jordan.

Approximately 400M Euro. Development of the Lev.3 Schedule for the EPCM scope, overseeing of Subcontactor Construction schedule, inizialization and monitoring of Engineering and Procurement progress reporting system, monthly updates and reports. Based in Brussels, Belgium

February 2009 – March 2010 – Senior Planning Engineer

Senior Planning Engineer with Total for the EPSCC of Angola Gas Export Pipeline (GEP) Project consisting in ~200Km of Underwater Pipeline complete with Injection Platform and various terminals for a value of ~1.500MM€. Evaluation of Contractors’ schedules, reports and procedures. EPC Contractors Progress assessment and verification of compliance with Project requirements. Overall co-ordination of planning. Direct interface with Project Manager, Service Manager and all technical groups. Based in Paris, France

April 2005 – February 2009 – Senior Planning Engineer

Lead Planning & Reporting Engineer with Total for the Engineering, Procurement and Construction of Yemen LNG Project consisting in two Process Trains, related Utilities, loading Berth, LNG & LPG Tanks and 320km 38” pipeline for a value of 3.900MM€. Responsible for the evaluation of Tenders (schedule, planning, progress reporting, etc), production on Lev.1-2 Overall Schedule, planning and progress of the total Task Force and overall reporting. Evaluation of Contractors’ schedules, reports and procedures. EPC Contractors Progress assessment and verification of compliance with Project requirements. Overall co-ordination of planning. Direct interface with Project Manager, Service Manager and all technical groups. Based in Paris, France

2002 – March 2005 - Planning & Progress Control Coordinator – Deputy Control Manager

Planning & Progress Control Coordinator with Snamprogetti in a Joint Venture with Chiyoda Corp. for the construction and precommissioning of an LNG plant in Ras Laffan (Qatar)  (approx. 2,700 MM$), consisting of a total of circa 18 different projects and schedules including three Process Trains, related Utilities, loading Berths, LNG & LPG Tanks, pipelines and Condensate tanks. Direct interface with the Field Control Manager for the planning, management and monitoring of the construction. Direct interface with Subcontractor’s Control Managers and Planning Groups. Coordination with Construction Team, Procurement Team and Engineering Team, reporting, time analysis, critical path analysis. Management of a team consisting of 7 persons.

2001 – 2002 - Senior Planning Engineer

Senior Planning Engineer in Snamprogetti Home Office for the construction of four Power Plants in Italy. Development of the Level 4 construction schedule (Primavera), settlement of the Progress Reporting Procedure, interface with Technical Services, Engineering and Procurement, daily, weekly and monthly reporting to the Management, settlement of project targets, time analysis.

1997 – 2000 - Field Control Coordinator

Field Control Coordinator in ASAB - Abu Dhabi - U.A.E. with Snamprogetti, for the Construction & Commissioning of a grass-root Gas Plant & Pipeline (650.000.000 US$).

Direct collaboration with the Resident Manager for the planning, management and monitoring of the construction activities. Daily, weekly and monthly reporting, progress monitoring, revision and reprogramming of the project targets.

Experience in economical monitoring of the subcontractors and materials management.

Extensive experience on the “Information Technologies” (IT) as I was involved in the planning, installation and management of the Local/Wide Area Network (TCP/IP Protocol with MS-Windows NT Server) with interface duties among Home Office, Site, Branch and British Telecom for the management and problem solving of the satellite permanent link.

Due to the remote location of the site it was necessary to be able to resolve problems with the minimum of reference to outside parties.

Used to interfacing with all strata and expertise of personnel of many nationalities.

1995 – 1997 - Field Control Coordinator

Field Control Coordinator in BRINDISI - Italy with Snamprogetti, for the Construction & Commissioning of a grass-root Polyethylene Plant (450.000.000 US$).

Direct collaboration with the Resident Manager for the planning, management and monitoring of the construction activities. Daily, weekly and monthly reporting, progress monitoring, revision and reprogramming of the project targets.

Experience in economical monitoring of the subcontractors and materials management.

Responsible for the installation and management of the Local Area Network with interface duties between Home Office and Site. Snamprogetti pilot project for this kind of interconnection.

1993 – 1995 - Planning Engineer

Planning Engineer in HAMRA – Algeria – with Snamprogetti, for the Construction & Commissioning of a grass-root Gas Plant. (450.000.000 US$).

Direct collaboration with the Field Control Coordinator for the planning, management and monitoring of the construction activities. Daily, weekly and monthly reporting, progress monitoring, revision and reprogramming of the project targets.

Responsible for hardware & software equipment.

1990 – 1993 - Junior Planner

With PMA in Snamprogetti Head Office as Junior Planner for the Bu-Attifel - Libya Project. (400.000.000 US$). Collaboration with the Project Control Coordinator for the creation and monitoring of the Project Master Schedule and consequently of the Construction Programme. Planner and Cost Controller on the AGIP job for the engineering of a Multiphase Marine Pump. With Snamprogetti at Bu-Attifel - Libya as Junior Planner for the above job.

1989 -1990

Freelance with PMA (Project Management Associates) where I began my experience in Project Control techniques. Planner at Belleli S.p.A. for the creation of a Bid Programme for a Power Plant in the U.A.E.
