Planning Engineer, Desicon Engineering Limited., Shell Development and Production Company: Southern Swamp Associated Gas Solution (SSAGS) Project. - Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning of Production Facilities.

†        Prepare Planning /Scheduling Procedures, Physical Progress Measurement procedures, Reporting procedures, Project Calendar, Change Control Procedures, WBS and CBS, etc.

†        Preparation of the Reference Schedules (Levels,1 and 2) and the specific detailed schedules (Level 3) and others as required at various phase of Project and also assist all other disciplines in the preparation of detailed schedules and thus to check that main interfaces between activities are correctly taken into account.

†        Ensure the project schedule is on track to meet deadlines or deliverables. Log all information and status concerning commitments, forecasts etc. on the Project;

†        Compile back-up data for project statistics and ratio calculation.

†        Prepare and present detailed planning information and maintain progress data on live plans.

†        Input planning data: activities, tasks, logic, resources, key dates, progress etc.

†        Provide planning support as required by Project Managers and independently apply scheduling and planning techniques and analysis.

†        Update project plans on Primavera P6, provide schedule analysis and generate milestone reports.

†        Generate monthly reports to give management and client clear visibility of the progress and efficiency of the project.

†        Review critical path, cost loading, schedule content, use of relationships and lag, constraints, and milestones.

†        Maintain communication with management, liaise with contractor and project team regarding all scheduled activities.

†        Liaise with the other members of the project team on a daily basis and keep them informed of any operational issues and risks.
