May, 2007 - Providing a National Grid joint venture with programme management, planning & project control capability for the entire Northern Substation Alliance workbook. (c.£100M pa).
- Responsible for initiating and developing business operating procedures, systems and resource capability with particular respect to Programme Management, Project Controls, Planning and Earned Value Management.
- Led the initiation, development & successful implementation of project scheduling, baseline control, Earned Value Management and other Project Control techniques including system development, staff training and management of key consortium members.
- Responsible for building, leading and developing a programme assurance team of 16, comprising project planners, risk analyst, resource management & system administration across a multi-partner, multi-located organisation.
- Prime Client interface ensuring compliance with National Grid governance requirements, and adherence to NEC3 contractual obligations.
- Specialist development and implementation of an Earned Value Management system with ongoing focus on increasing levels of maturity.
