Based in the contractors office in Sharjah, UAE on a challenging, multiple contract $4bn Mega-Project being constructed in Algeria. Responsibilities include the integration management and control of the multi EPC Contractor schedules. Developing and maintaining schedules in Primavera P6. Reviewing and analysing contractors schedules and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness, specifying areas of variance and remedial action and supporting project scenario planning.
Current Role
- Request proposals for the Design;
- Evaluation of technical and financial proposals received and selection of a firm;
- Negotiation of the Contract for the Design;
- Supervise the preparation of the Design and the Specifications for the call for bids;
- Assist in evaluation of technical and financial bids of Contractors;
Ø Preparation and updation of detailed project schedules (Level II / III) with WBS structures.
Ø Generating performance reports (Viz. Network based look ahead, milestones and progress reports) and curves (Viz. ‘S’ Curves).
Ø Generation of MIS Reports.
Programme Management– Project Planning, Scheduling, Resource and Logistics Planning etc
Project Controls Procedures– Project Execution Plan, Project Procedures Manual, Responsibility Matrix etc
Earned Value Management System– Project Measurement Procedures, Cost Control Procedures, KPIs etc
Project Risk Analysis– Design Risks, Procurement Risks, Value Engineering Risks and Mitigation Actions etc
Project Close Out– Statutory Authorities Approvals, As-Built Documentation, Project handing over etc

Fully resource the construction programme with all labour, plant and materials. Critical path analysis and produce mitigation programmes where required to accommodate lost time or change of scope of works. Implementation of compensation events and the effects on the accepted programme and the future costs. Using P6, produce cost curves and future trends of spend. Compile progress reports each month for the client and key milestone reports. Proficient in the use of P3, P6, CS Project as well as other software
Extensive experience in planning and programme management on hydrocarbon, civil and infrastructure projects, of which more than 15 years has been at a senior level. Has a detailed working knowledge of various planning software and good experience of claims management and preparation of Extension of Time (EOT). Attended various workshops and seminars on project management for the past years and PMP certified.
