Turner Industries Group, L.L.C.– Corporate Manager of Project Controls

Accountable for the performance and results of the related disciplines or sub-groups within project controls. I manage the delivery of project deliverables by providing leadership and direction to team members. I participate in the development of functional strategy for all projects and may be responsible for global processes and procedures for estimating, project risk control, cost control, and scheduling.

  • Responsible for development, implementation, execution, updating, and monitoring of Project Controls including planning, scheduling, and cost control, activities.
  • Cost and schedule status reporting, forecast reviews, and presentations to the corporate management team.
  • Employee relations for reporting staff, including hiring, training, counseling, performance appraisals, and salary administration
  • Train and develop subordinates to be more effective and efficient
  • Oversee development and delivery of training programs related to Project Controls
  • Monitors scope, budget, schedules, and work in progress to ensure project plans are implemented effectively.
  • Responsible for auditing projects for compliance with Turner policies and the client contract.
  • Participate in Estimating and Bid review activities.
  • Analyze variances in cost and schedule performance against the plan, and communicate the reasons for variances and future plans to the management team.
  • Ensures the quality and consistency of performance by project controls members
  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans related to Project Controls
  • Identify cost control and scheduling problems and provide appropriate solutions.
