Head of Planning - Transportation Systems

Part of a Functional Matrix that supports a project portfolio of circa £250m per year

Responsible for the Stewardship of a major project to upgrade the current Primavera EPS Tool to version R15.1

Governance of major bids submissions, ensuring compliance to Thales process and management procedures.  Deployment of Fuse and the application of Primavera Risk Analysis to gain confidence in the quality of programme submitted to our clients.  

This also includes the requirement to ensure compliance to NEC requirements and Network Rail/TFL/LUL contract forms.

Instigation of a Planners Roadmap to show the Planning fraternity the expectations set upon them from a functional and project point of view.  Developed to show clear line of sight of where progress is made or development is required.

Liaison with the Thales UK group to ensure synergies between the business unit needs and that of the larger business.
