Technical Manager, Project ControlDivision– CTCI Taiwan

 June 07 – date

CTCI Taiwan appointed me as the Division Technical Manager to lead the current and future projects into the new age of fast track project management. CTCI have until recently been a Company managed with old school local government principles. The Company has since 2001 earned work in the international arena and had to adapt to an international project management environment.

Initially I was responsible for establishing new project control principles for the CTCI Hydrocarbon Group. I am also responsible for the current seven projects running in SEA and Middle East to make sure progress is achieved and baseline control and sound contract management principles is followed. Accumulative project value is US$ 1 billion.

In addition I look after the current delay claim situation in CTCI and have initiated 4 major EOT claims; I manage the forensic scheduling, claim data collection of these projects and am a key member of the team in claim negotiation and final commercial settlement for claims to the total value of US$120 million.
