  • Duties include developing comprehensive project programme (Target Price, Secondary Baselines and Construction programme) for the framework projects (Enhanced Track Replacement, Pit block, Life extension, Tunnel Refurbishment) using P3e, incorporate resource and skills planning to accurately report cost of work done and cost to completion, Cost loading, materials planning, cost estimating, earned value (EVA) forecasting, reporting and identifying critical paths and develop and implement action plans to maximize project quality. Coordinate functional activity on the project and ensure problems are anticipated. Provide regular reports and feedback to management on project progress;
  •      Manipulating data into Primavera such as compensation events and scheduling to get the effect in terms of Cost and Time on the project, curtailing programmes to meet client requirements, creating daily plan reports for Project Engineers to update progress, creating tracking register to monitor productivity levels of projects and report feedback to management.
  •      Using working knowledge of PRIMAVERA (P3e), MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint to record progress against plan, plan against defined project baseline, record cost and track scope, creating a six weeks rolling programme, ensure all changes follow the change control process, liaising with the Logistic team on clashes affecting the scope of work and referring to Project Engineers, Possession, Engineering Hours and Track walk resource allocation, requesting resources from subcontractors.
  • Produce master (baseline) Programme and sub-programmes, key dates and strategic milestones, load budgets, resources and procurement schedules, liaise with the contracts manager to co-ordinate works on a monthly/weekly/daily basis, schedule and collate all closures, possessions and accesses to optimize usage by all work streams, collage monthly key date reports, generate planning approvals, monitor and report achieved progress versus planned progress, revise Programme in light of any anticipated constrain or changes, update and monitor client Master Programme Database, carry out site progress checks.
  • Effective use of issues log, risk log, timesheets as well as the WPs & Doc tools in Primavera Project Management.
  • Carry out delay analysis on Programme including help with preparing claims
