Sr. Schedule & Cost Control Engineer, Nesma & Partners co. Ltd., KAAR - King Abdul Aziz Road

Planning:• Package the project into a scope of work, Setup Program and Project-based schedule (EPC Program) and develop level 1 & 2 of the schedule.
 • Develop WBS & Encode in planning software (Primavera V8.3), Create Activity List & Durations, Develop Resource coding and MH per activity level, 
 Perform Resource Loading / Leveling tasks and develop the full detailed schedule for the project including the follow up till the client approval.
 • Plan and schedule all aspects of the project such as Engineering, Procurement, Submittals, drawing Construction, Testing & Commissioning and beyond, 
 in coordination with all parties in the project and/or Head Office.
 • Monitoring of the program and re-planning - when needed – during the project life cycle, Develop earned value reporting and project KPI (SPI & CPI).
 • Understand & Reflect change order scope on the schedule using the agreed technique in the request for the EOT with the client / PMC,  and perform variance analysis.
 • Develop, Prepare, review and issue all Client Reports, daily, weekly and monthly reports as per the contract.
 • Develop, Prepare, review and issue the required internal reports to Project Manager (PM) and/or management to highlight areas of concern, 
 program slippage and project performance indices (KPI).
 • Develop Work Package for Timesheet registration, Track and monitor project manpower levels to include direct, indirect, support and idle manpower.
 • Perform 2-weeks look ahead, progress schedule, recovery plans, accelerated plans.
 • Supervise Timekeeper output, Equipment Records and Daily Manpower Reporting.
 • Develop, Prepare, review and issue Internal Efficiency reports.
 • Develop S Curve for Engineering Effort, Procurement Progress and Construction Progress.
 • Track and monitor major equipment long lead and other material items
 • Liaise with Subcontractor Planning team, Approve Subcontractor Schedule.
 • Analyze Subcontractor schedule performance.
 • Administer Subcontractor request of EOT.
Budgeting & Cost Control:• Develop Work Package for material to easily allocate actual cost on different categories.
 •Review the budget files prepared by the estimation department in full coordination with the project manager (PM).
 • Assign Cost Components and Cost Types.
 • Develop Man-hour and Sundry Hourly Rates.
 • Identify material and subcontract packages and reflect the actual cost on monthly basis.
 • Develop Project Indirect Forecast. Develop Project Equipment and Vehicle Forecast.
 • Develop Budget Revisions to incorporate Change Orders and to reflect the actual costs impact.
 • Model Client invoicing.
 • Develop Historical Records for Man-hour, Equipment and Sundry Hourly rates.
 • Develop and maintain Material Packages comparison and expected forecasted costs.
 • Forecast remaining labor, equipment and vehicles hours.
 • Analyze commitment Costs versus Actual Costs and the cost at completion forecast.
 • Develop & Analyze Project Costing reports.
 • Create Invoice for back charges subcontractors for Utilizing own resources.
 • Approve Subcontractor IPA and Prepare in coordination with other departments all Subcontractors’ Payment Valuations (SPV).
 • Administer Subcontractor request for change orders and back charges.
People Management:• In charge of supervising the assigned team(s) as per the company’s policy and management decision to support fulfill all the tasks mentioned herein 
 including schedule and cost control engineers (SCC), junior schedule and cost control engineers (Jr. SCC), schedule and cost control officers (SCC Off.), 
 data entry operators (DEO) and the time keepers’ team.
 • Supervise, guide, and assist direct reports to perform their daily activities in accordance with the Company policies and procedures.
 • Actively participate in on-the-job training, mentoring, and coaching of direct reports.
 • Generate commitment, motivation, and enthusiasm to team goals, and guide team members through periods of change or uncertainty.
 • Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility, and monitor the workflow.
 • Provide opportunities for team members, to suggest, participate in and contribute to improvements, innovation, and knowledge sharing initiatives.
