  • 1. Dodsal Engineering and Construction Pte. Ltd. (From 1st Jun 11 -Present)

    Position:  Lead Engineer

     Leading the project control team for Habshan Sulphur Granulation Plant Project.  The position includes overall function of project control department. Leading & mentoring the team of 11 engineers.

     Key Responsible Area:

    • Development and maintaining EPC Master Schedule to ensure total integration of schedule activities related to Detail Engineering, Procurement & Construction.
    • Review, recommendation & reporting for planning and scheduling/cost engineering requirements related to resource, staffing and project control function
    • Provide monthly accruals, project cost reports, spending profiles and other cost status reports to project stakeholders
    • Ensure implementation/maintenance of the project cost tracking system to monitor and analyze budget, commitments, actual cost and cost variances
    • Analyze cost data, physical progress data and schedule data in order to calculate project cost forecasts(CTC)
    • Implement risk and contingency management procedures on the project and coordinate/review risk and contingency status with project management
    • Review &  monitor Vendor/contractors' schedule & services against contractual term,  cost and accounting requirements
    • Compilation and review of monthly project report for management which includes scope, cost and schedule data, man hour & progress information

     

    2. Technip  (From 1st  Sep 2009 to 27th  May 2011)

    Position:  Principal Engineer, Estimation & Control

    Key Responsible Area:

    • Develop & Maintain EPC Project Schedules (Primavera e/c 5.0) for Facility and Process Projects.
    • Project Cost and contract management, preparing and forecasting cash flow projections, Evaluating project risks, Product costing, Cost benefit Ratio, Sensitivity analysis, Action control Sheet and Reporting.
    • Supervise, directs, reviews and evaluates schedule durations for all discipline’s activities related to support project milestones by coordination within Engineering Procurement & Construction
    • Identify schedule risk and follow up with mitigation actions - to be documented in the company's risk management system &  evaluation of schedule consequences of identified risk and perform schedule risk analysis
    • Monitor progress to detect early warning signals for delays and suggest remedial actions

    3. Indian Oil Tanking Limited. (From 29th Feb 2008 to 30th Aug 09)

    Position:  Project Control Manager

    Key Responsible Areas:

    • Preparation of Project Master Schedule  & thereafter detailing it into L-3 & L-4 networks for implementation as well as monitoring the same during execution stage
    • Preparation of comprehensive reports highlighting critical issues, exceptional reports and areas of concern for management intervention & its early resolution
    • Preparation of periodical report & presentation for management review
    •  To Prepare Material, Manpower & Equipment requirement /deployment plan for required     progress under construction & EPC Contracts
    • Monitor cash flow of the contract and advise prioritization of activities for cash flow management during execution stage

     

    4. Larsen & Toubro Limited. (From 24thJan 2007 to 25thFeb 2008)

    Position: Planning Engineer

    Key Responsible Areas:

    • Scope verification and conversion of engineering work packages to construction work packages in accordance with schedule of work and unit rates
    • Monitor project critical activities & performance by following up procurement for timely delivery of deliverables
    •  Maintain and update all schedules, collecting actual data, evaluating dates to completion and project delays by effective monitoring of actual productivity compared with project baseline
    • Front generation and subcontract management
    • Monitor, evaluate and report project cost data, including budgeted and forecasted amounts
    • Maintain engineering and construction cost/budget expenditures

    5. C.R. Asia (From 15thAug 2001 to 10th Jan 2007)

    Company: Involved in turn key management of refinery and petrochemicals maintenance / shut down projects

    Position: Project Coordinator

    Key Responsible Areas:

    • Preparation of Project schedule, Monitoring and coordination with client
    • To estimate the material, manpower and resources for mobilization
    • Preparation of  procurement plan & its logistics 
    • Preparation of different report as per MIS

    Company: Involved manufacturing of Automobile components & equipments.

    Position: Worked as CNC Programmer & Production planner (Shop Floor)

    Key Responsible Areas:

    • Support, improve, and keep, different applications, as per necessities
    • Implement strategy on manufacturing floor and suggested corrections and developments for correctness of programs and abridged costs.
    • Execute & simulate programmed testing and successful componentization of applications.
    • Plan, expand and document custom company applications
    • Preparation & approval of material requisition as per project specification
