Balfour Beatty Utility Solutions, Lincoln – (Water & Gas Assets Management Contract)

 

·     Develop and manage Asset Management Plans (AMP), in particular the scheduling of work within agreed priorities, resource levels and targets.

·     Prepare project plans and resolve complex model serviceability & regulatory issues, ensuring that project plans are in compliance with OFWAT’s regulatory framework & business model.

·     Identify and prioritise asset needs using advance asset planning tools, including scenario planning, modeling and interpretation of results versus specific output and serviceability performance targets.

·     Process, plan, organize, validate, schedule and assign a variety of customer requested fast response planned preventative maintenance & reactive utility jobs to site gangs within allocated timescales.

·     Deploy jobs to site managers & gangs via e-mail and toughbook laptops within allocated time.

·     Carried out Resource Planning using SAP, Oracle Auto and Smart Scheduler.

·     Effective use of PDA devices to produce gang schedules.

·     Use different project planning tools & asset maps to plan, process and deploy jobs including Oracle Pathway, Anglian Water SAP Portal, CITRIX, RMS Web View, digdat water & sewerage maps, e-on and national grid electric and gas maps.

·     Work individually as well as a member of a team towards completing Fast Response jobs within allocated time schedule.

·     Use both internal/external resources to liaise with team mates, the client (Anglian Water) and customers in order to solve difficult utility problems.

·     Supervise works directly on-site and via the office liaison with specialist sub-contractors, site managers, gangs, duty managers and other members of the facilities management team, ensuring that works are carried out in compliance with specifications and regulations.

·     Prepared and logged completed maintenance jobs reports/technical reports.

  • Organise and arrange authorisation for dispatch of plant and equipments such as mini diggers, traffic lights etc as well as network technicians to provide support for gangs on site when requested.
