  • A family owned business and following a family loss, l took leadership in the company. One of my full time responsibilities was the Project Management of full-scale implementation projects on large Civil/Electrical Installation Projects on Mines, and in Heavy Commercial Industries. Namely (Rio Tinto, Zimasco, Zisco Steel, Zimbabwe Wire & Rope (Haggie Rand), Sable Chemicals to name a  few)
  • Conception of Projects from Tender stage through to substantial completion hand over averaging between 20 & 50 Million Dollars
  • Project Proposal Tender presentations, CDM for Civil/Electrical projects, costing and business plan preparations.
  • Project Management & leadership of Sub Contractor Design Engineers, Installation Teams and Commissioning stages.
  • Liaising with other planning team members and local managers to ensure delivery of project to scheduled timescales.
  • Programme Management with P3 3.1 & MS Project.
  • Integration of job sheets with Microsoft Access Databases
  • Project earned value analysis, cost management, resource and cost variation/change control
  • Project O&M Manuals & Handover
  • Business & Client management strategy action plans
  • We had a national dealership for an electro mechanical switch gear known by its product name as “Cutler-Hammer”. We supplied and installed the product mainly on Mining & Commercial projects, and on occasion for farmers as a power control system on boreholes, Irrigation systems, Tobacco Barns etc.
