I'm on a mission to help companies improve how they manage and deliver work through their people, by helping them make the most of the tools they have and uncovering different ways of working with them and each other.

For nearly 30 years, from my first real job at Artemis, I have worked exclusively in Project Management. I have gathered plenty of experience, knowledge and skills that I apply when working with my clients, each time adding even more.

I help my clients develop their business through improving the way they manage and execute their project work. I accomplish this through, mentoring, training, workshops, project support, process and tool implementations, working through a PMO right up to full blown Change Programmes.

I find the best results are achieved through working with people to improve the way they approach their work, appreciate the power of a WBS and make the best use of tools through processes and knowledge of project management disciplines.

It helps that I have a deep understanding of technology such as SQL databases, programming and web technologies. This allows me to understand what is behind the tools as well as the optimal way to configure and use them. I know Primavera, Microsoft Project, Deltek Cobra, Oracle Projects and other tools very well, and pick up new ones extremely quickly.

Data Migrations and Integrations are a particularly strong area and one that can add great value, though nowadays I leave the programming to others.

I am a member of the APM Thames Valley Branch and both the Governance SIG and the Planning, Monitoring & Control SIG.
