Selected engagement experiences include:

  • Led a team of multi-disciplinary experts on a multi-billion dollar refinery and pipeline project in Americas. Evaluated a variety of contractual, project management, engineering and damages claims. Testified as an expert at a multi-year International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) arbitration.
  • Led a team of consultants in developing a robust risk management program on a multi-year, billion dollar highway system. Benchmarked client’s risk management approach against the industry practices. Assisted in identification of risks and performed qualitative and quantitative risk analysis. 
  • Led a team of experts and presented expert testimony on a power plant in Europe. Issues involved delays in completion, quality and workmanship deficiencies, changes in scope of work, engineering performance, labor productivity related disputes and damages quantification.
  • Advised an energy producer in the assessment of the risks associated with the capital project expenditures. Evaluated the contract delivery strategy, reviewed and assessed the project schedule and budget and assisted the client in the developing of a comprehensive risk management program.
  • Led a team of experts in quantification of damages associated with a delayed power plant completion on an $8B industrial complex. Issue analysis included various breach of contract claims, business interruption claims, delays in completion, resource productivity assessment and evaluation of the standard of care employed by the contractor in meeting its contractual obligations.
