Construction Project Planner / Senior Planner, CCC (Consolidated Contractors Company), QATAR RAIL PROJECT

  • Formulate Master Plan Schedule, at all stages of the project lifecycle, from design and through to completion using primavera project planner through resources loading, including engineering, procurement and construction, in coordination with project team.
  • To coordinate with engineering and procurement department project teams to achieve optimum development and sustainment of project schedules.
  • Monitoring critical activities based on the project schedule and report to management
  • Interfacing, coordinating with subcontractors when needed, reviewing subcontractors schedules, progress report and provide comments if required for compliance
  • Preparing project budget & calculation of detailed man-hours, machine hours
  • Preparing construction targets, weekly and monthly look ahead for construction team.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly project progress reports, presentations and dashboard,
  • Site visiting for coordination and monitoring of site activities and progress.
  • Developing action and recovery plans to support project delivery on time
  • Supporting project management in accomplishing project status review and performance control.
  • Participating in project meetings and discussions with the client as required.
  • Identifying, communicating schedule risk and as well advising management for control measures.
  • Prepare and performing delay analysis with EOT/Claims preparation and assessment.
  • Preparation, review and evaluation of project schedules during all phases, Critical path review and evaluation, resource/cost allocation, reporting progress (work/cost)
  • Preparing mitigation plans and cases assessments based on Actual vs. Planned Activities with analysis.
  • Reporting to the management about the current work progress, make comparison between plan and actual progress with analysis, study impact of alternative approaches to work
  • Interpreting drawings and technical documents for purpose of project planning and scheduling
  • Performing other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
