Key Responsibilities as Planning Manager at Terna S.A. ( May 2007 to till date)

  • Development of Master Schedules of works on P5.0/6.0 (incorporating plans of subcontractors) for the said Projects and securing approval from consultant/client.
  • Resource & Cost loading, incorporating client’s requirements and amendment of existing schedule based on approved change orders. Regular updating of the Master Schedule as per site progress in coordination with the subcontractor(s).
  • Development of catch up/acceleration Schedules to achieve the major deliverables of the Project.
  • Development of Earned Value Management System for Project Monitoring & Control.
  • Analyzing delays beyond contractor’s control and preparing Extension of Time (EOT) claims with proper substantiation taking into account the delayed Deliverables from Client. Earned special accolades from management for getting approved the Extension of Time claim for Park Rotana complex Project.
  • Preparation of Monthly Report for the Project by co-coordinating with Departmental Heads as well as subcontractors.
  • Prepare and distribute schedule status reports displaying achievement as well as delay(s) in project life cycle phases and suggest corrective action(s), wherever required.
  • Prepare and maintain project cash flow report(s) for maintaining sufficient cash flow at site for sub contractor and miscellaneous payments.
  • Prepare and distribute Monthly/weekly Look Ahead Targets to the execution teams & inform about delays in specific areas of the Project (if any).
  • Preparation of manpower requirement for all projects, their productivity level & manpower cost for use of senior management of project.
  • Preparation of Physical progress “S” Curve for whole project for progress and cash flow reporting.
  • Participation in project meetings with Client, Consultant, Subcontractors & various suppliers & maintaining records.
  • Co-coordinating with different sections of the projects to sort out various Technical & Contractual issues for smooth execution of project work.
  • Responsible for assessing skills of Junior Team members under company’s periodic appraisal program and develop them as per Project’s requirements.
