 Project Planner on Civils East Anglia Framework Contract for Network Rail

 

  • Responsible for salvaging a project work bank of around 100 live civil engineering projects using P3e.
  • Creating cost loaded plans with complete logical dependencies, baselines for monitoring/evaluation, complete WBS coding structure, critical paths and physical progress measures.
  • Producing recovery programs to ensure project critical milestones are met on time.
  • Creating and managing a monthly milestone report to ensure that the Project Manager is aware of which projects are at risk and allow adequate time to make changes to the critical path to bring implementation date back on schedule.
  • Managing the contractor plans to ensure that accurate physical progress was recorded for Network Rails monthly reporting cycle into Oracle Projects.
  • Ensuring effective change control takes place on any live or near live project.
  • Planning future years work to ensure an adequate look ahead including the budget spreading.
  • Analysing the contractors period spend report to ensure continuity and compliancy with contract agreement.
