My Responsibilities as Project Planner:
• Develop, update and maintain the project master schedule
• Be actively involved in detailed reviews, analysis and monitoring the construction Programmes of the Construction Contractors
• Liaise with the various unit Construction Planners and the Construction Managers
• Monitor and / or revise the Contractor’s Baseline Programme
• Report to the Construction Team any risks, opportunities and any mitigation strategies to maintain the project completion date
• Review actual construction progress and prepare and maintain an updated Construction master Programme
• Attend site and convene workshops with the site team as necessary to get snap-shots in time; updates of actual progress achieved site
• Evaluate the contractor’s site progress against his Programme and report to the Construction Manager accordingly
• Manage and mitigate delays, review the Programme and propose alternative strategies to mitigate Programme and time risks to the project
• Provide support to the team in understanding risks and opportunities of potential change orders through the process of this project
• The detailed control and monitoring of the Programme will also enable input and support to Construction / Project team, to evaluate any related construction contractors and design claims and variations as considered necessary
• Support the Project/Construction team with reviews and analysis of the Programme to assist with resolution of claims and change orders
