I am an international project delivery professional with over 25 years experience in Project Controls and related business processes associated with major capital projects in Australia, Africa and the United Kingdom. My experience spans the project life cycle from concept and feasibility through to execution and project closeouts and includes all facets of planning, project / portfolio performance monitoring and reporting, pre-award and post award procurement and contract management, business systems and integration and management reporting of project status and health. Over the past 15 years, I have been actively involved in the planning, monitoring and controlling of major capital projects in the capacity of Project Controls Manager. The delivery of such projects has necessitated; interdisciplinary co-ordination, development and planning of expenditure, overseeing, mentoring and training my team of project control personnel, procurement of goods and services, negotiating, awarding and administering contracts, developing business processes, implementing and integrating business systems and supporting infrastructure, project & portfolio performance reporting together with internal management reporting of Project Health. I am a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Published Article on Earned Value as a trend analysis tool in the construction industry. I am proficient in Primavera P6 and most costing systems especially Prolog, CMS, Prism and I have sound knowledge of all Schedule/Planning principles, Contract and Procurement methodology as well as sound understanding of all financial reports, Budget reports and Forecasting, Change Management and Monthly reports. I understand the necessity of Forecast and Change Management to obtain final project costs and schedule. I have presented training courses for PMP exam preparation and have lectured in Project Management at various learning institutions. I have a Masters Degree in Engineering Management, an Honours Degree in Business Management and a Diploma in Project Management and Civil Engineering.
