Nader Ammari
In 1986 Nader joined Jordan Armed Forces in Jordan as a Resident Engineer at the Corps of Engineers, controlling the works of private contractors executing various projects for the army. His duties included quality control, quantity surveying and overall supervision for all activities.
Projects include:-
- Second stage expansion of corps of maintenance warehouse - Zarka, Jordan $12m
- Four storage steel warehouses each 150'x400' - Zarka, Jordan $5m.
In 1988 – 1989 he joined Contracting Companies in Iraq for Basrah infrastructure development projects as a Resident Engineer and was responsible for various projects including the excavation and installation of sewerage lines, UPVC/Steel pipes for water networks. Duties vary between close monitoring of productivity/cost against time.
From 1989 - 1992 joined Contracting Companies in United Arab Emirates as a Site Engineer. He was responsible for the execution of different kind of projects, handling the construction daily work, labour force productivity and efficiency, cost/material control and preparing work programs. Projects executed includes Steel structure warehouse with a value of $1.2m and Five commercial residential buildings on Sh. Zayed Road in Dubai, each comprising of G+M+8 with a value of $19m.
From 1992 - 1994 he joined Syna Development in Dubai as Project Engineer responsible for day-to-day activities. Projects executed includes the JW MARRIOTT Hotel-Dubai $30m, Al-Rashed Al Saleh School in Dubai with a construction value of $28m, A commercial and residential building in Abu Dhabi comprising of G+M+O+23 with a construction value of $20m.
From 1994 - 2011 he joined Dubai Municipality as a Contracts Engineer and further progressed as Projects Follow-up Engineer expanding his professional knowledge with exposure to projects of various nature. Part of the tasks which were appointed to him was:-
- Administrating tendering procedures for Dubai Municipality projects. (Approximately, 500 project/year)
- Reviewing and analysing Contractors/Consultants claims & variation orders. (Total claims value per year, $30-50m)
- Preparing overall projects performance reports including financials highlighting the project obstacles, concerned parties and proposing solution methods. (Dubai Municipality's annual projects budget, $400-500m)
- Member in the Contracts & Purchasing Department "Total Quality committee", preparing strategic analysis of the department strengths, weaknesses and proposing action development plans. Introducing the quality standards in enhancing performance and achieving customer satisfaction.
From 2001 - 2006 he joined Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company, ADMA-OPCO in Abu Dhabi as a Contracts Officer (Drilling/Logistics). Adma Opco, is a major producer of Oil and Gas from the offshore areas of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Part of the tasks which were appointed to him were; managing Contracts administration activities for drilling operation projects and service contracts, preparation/issuance of tender documents, tenders evaluation, contracts agreements preparation/drafting, formulates and issues amendments to the contract as and when required in accordance with applicable procedures. Liaising with ADMA-OPCO's higher Management and its Shareholders partners. Some of the recent Tenders carried out are:-

From April 2006 – Present he joined Campbell Reith Hill as a Project Controls Manager and progressed to Projects Director leading both project teams for Design and Execution. His tasks include tenders/contracts negotiation, tender evaluation and processing, overall managing the successful execution of assigned projects and Client’s liaison. - Two towers on Dubai water front for Desert Group Developers. – US$ 40.0m
- District shopping Centers for Aswaaq PJSC - 14 nos. – US$ 110.0m
- Distribution Petrol Stations for ENOC – more than 50 nos. – US$ 38.0m
- Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) roads and general projects including:
- Roads in Al Safa 1 – 18km – US$ 21.0m
- Dubai Academic City Roads – 24km – US$ 100.0m
- Three multi-story City Bus Stations – US$ 82.0m
- Jebel Ali Bus Depot & Housing – capacity 300 Bus – US$ 130.0m
