Managing Director - What's Critical

After over 20 years working across the globe for Lendlease I decided in November 2020 to restart my consulting business, What's Critical, that was founded back in 2004.

Prior Roles

From 2017 to 2020 I was part of Lendlease Corporation's Centre of Excellence I am currently responsible for overseeing the international business deliver and execute their projects across Asia, Europe and the Americas. The role's focus is on business strategy, conversion, governance, risk management and the safe delivery of both it's construction and integrated development projects.

From 2015 to 2017 I was the Regional Operations Manager for Lendlease in Asia. This involved working with the country/project teams in Singapore, Japan, China and Malaysia to ensure that we safely deliver our projects. It also involved ensuring that Lendlease's operating policies and procedures, governance protocols as well team's capabilities are constantly reviewed and any areas for improvement are addressed.

From 2012 to 2015 I was the Head of Engineering at the Barangaroo South Project in Sydney for Lend Lease, responsible for the overall planning and co-ordination of the construction activities of this major development. Barangaroo is a $6bn urban redevelopment of the western edge of Sydney's central business district.

From 2004 to 2012, I operated the consulting business, What's Critical, working with major construction companies around the world assisting in the development and execution of their project's plans, schedules and risk management strategies.

From 2006 to 2011, I was the Global Head of Planning & Scheduling at Bovis Lend Lease, where I was responsible for overseeing the planning and scheduling on projects such as London’s Olympic Village, World Trade Centre Memorial in New York, ANZ’s Headquarters in Melbourne and Lend Lease’s Barangaroo Development in Sydney.

In 2008 I developed and led the establishment of the global Oracle Primavera solution for Lend Lease that after 10 years is still being utilised today. This was recognised by Primavera as best of class with being awarded the Global AEC Award by Primavera.
