(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

Hi,

Our Middle East Project and Cost Management Division (Gulf) is looking to recruit a Planning Engineer to work for a key client for an ongoing water treatment works development in Qatar.   

It is essential that the Planner has significant planning experience within the infrastructure and construction sector and has extensive experience using the Primavera P6 planning tool.  The ability to lead and direct the schedule of work from initial discussion with the project team and further development in line with the scope of work and site drawings.  An understanding of good rounded knowledge of Project Management techniques and principles is essential.  The role will involve working within a programme team and interfacing with clients, contractors and other consultants to provide planning & scheduling expertise within a client environment. 

The planner will also need to demonstrate the following:-

  • Understanding of Risk & Change Management techniques and the interpretation and representation of risk in schedules.
  • Degree in the related subject and a relevant professional qualification.
  • Experience of working on construction sites and operating as a member of the on site project management team.
  • 10 years industry experience, 5 of which should be in planning major infrastructure projects in GCC countries.
