Guild of Project Controls: Compendium | Roles | Assessment | Certifications | Membership

Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

You may be interested to know that the Institution of Engineering and Technology have teamed up with the Association of Cost Engineers, tasked with delivering a suit of free events and on-line offerings to address value improving practices.

They are going to kick this off with a webcast on improving the implementation of Lessons Learned on the 18th February 14:00 GMT.  The chat room that will accompany the webcast enables the audience to pose questions to the panel and will also be open to the floor as to what the Project Control community would like addressed in the future.  Interest? Lessons learned are often an after thought rather than a source of valuable information. Anything that looks at better utilisation of the IP generated through project delivery, in my view, is a good thing.
