P6 unusual error

Nadia,

The error could have been due to the layout created from an latter version of P6 and to be imported into an earlier version.

The layout might have some data fields that earlier version of P6 does not recognized.

Hi all,

I would like to report an error happened some days ago to a colleague of mine.

In Primavera P6 Project Management
Release: 7.0 Service Pack 3

A layout was exported from standalone and imported in P6 client the following error happened:

Exception EconvertError in module PM.exe at 0000B30A UDF_G3 is not a valid floating point of value.

The only solution was to uninstall and re-install Primavera.

Does anyone had this error?

I was looking for the reasons in oracle portal but no information found at the moment.

Thanks for helping.

Ronald,

Thanks for the feed back.

Nobody uses the username and also another user in the same network experienced it.

I am sure it is a Database issue but nobody in the IT dept can manage to solve the problem.

To All IT experts,

Calling all IT database experts to please share your solution to this problem.

Thank you.

Raymund,

Perhaps someone else is logging into P6 using your username?
