Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Under Admin Preferences, in addition to entering Hours/Day, is entering the Hours/Week, or Hours/Month and,or Hours/Year necessary ?

As a test case, I entered 8 Hours/Day and 1 Hour/Week and the schedule still seemed fine.

Thanks,

This is used for the EPS calculations. Just ignore it and make sure that "Use assigned calendar to specify the number fo work hours for each time period" is checked.

You can find that option in Admin Preferences---->Time Periods----->under Hours per Time Period

it only means consistency, if it isn't, then expect otherwise

The question is where are the Week, Months or Year data used? If you say 8 hrs/day and yet, set Hours/Week, Month or Year as 1, the schedule is still fine.

Is it when the schedule is calculated in month, that hours/month come into play?

Thanks,

Kashyap

in most of projects especially structural

Hours Per Day :8

Hours Per Week:40

Hours Per Month:172

Hours Per Year: 2000

Anyway, these rules depend on Work Conditions
