Dear Irfan,

We need to under stand from you what you mean by "Budget Quantity"?

The most likely explanation is that it is the tender quantity for each line item.

The Quantities are estimated quantities that are calculated by quantity surveyors at the tender stage. It is a standard process where the tenders are reviewed and quantities are calculated depending on the Tender Documents, details, and specifications.

With kind regards,

there is no Budgeted Quantity as such in P6
if you want to load Quantity as resource
Make a resource (Resource type =Material)
Asign unit for that resource (Chq Admin preferance for units)
and for a perticular activity asign that Resource with Budgeted unit =What u want
it will be the quantity for ur use

Hi Irfan,

I presumed you are working with Road Works. You mean "Cut & Fill" for Earthworks?

cutting in cubic meters? I supposed you are going to cut concrete, is it a demolition work?

I believe you had already mentioned the budget quantity and that is in terms of m3. Or do you mean another thing?
