Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hello everyone,

I would like to ask if anyone could explain to me how to show the Peak manpower either on report or by histogram in
P6 because I use this option often in P3 but know our current project requires us to use P6 but I cannot locate this option. I would very much appreciate if any one could help me.

Glenn,

Hello Glenn,
I don’t know If P6 do this, I guess that you can generate a report with those parameter in the "Reports" features but I am not familiar with it.
Give me your mail adress I will forward you a document relating how I manage to export data in excel to generate Curves and Histograms

Dear Eric,

I tried this option and it is shows the over allocated budgedted units in histogram form but is it possible in P6 to generate a report in tabular form showing the average, peak & total budgeted quantity like in P3. i need this values because I am presenting the manpower histogram in excel. your response would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,
Glenn

Hello,
Go to the "resource usage profile", right click on the histogram and select "Resource Usage Profile Options".
In Additional Data Options, select "Show Limits" and "Show Overallocation", it should works

P3 offered "Total, Peak, Average"

P6 just has "total or average"
