Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Dear all,

I have tried, but unsuccessfully, installing P6 on Vista business running machine. I have also read two different views on the subject of P6 vs Vista compatibility.

The first from Vista Forum:

Which says that (in the last post) Vista does not support Primavera 6.

2. http://www.ccss.co.in/Primavera.html

CADD center, IT consulting: which says that Vista business can support Primavera.

Would any one, please, make this point clear from your experience.

I had also the same problem with XP proffessional SP3. However, with XP SP2 I could run P6.

I have had no problems installing or running P6 on XP or Vista.

I have found very serious performance issues with Vista if you have less than 3gb RAM
