Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Login issue with P5

Hi, I copied the database which I use at my desktop and transfered it onto my laptop (company), then I "Attached" this database using the SQL Enterprise Manager. I configured the connection with P5 using the company’s license and it succeeded, I logged into P5. The problem that I’m facing is whenever I try to login again into P5 an error appears stating that the user name is already logged in. what is wrong? Thanks, Karim

Reinstalling server may solve the problem but if you have realtime data in your system it maybe harder. Instead, after you are sure that nobody is logged in, you can open SQL enterprise manager/USESSION table and delete all the active lines. This is the easiest way.

I created a new user account when I was able to login but the same issue occurs, an error appears stating that the user is already logged in?

Get a new login & password from your administrator & check.
