I have tried to replace values but I am getting some errores  like "Microsoft offoce excel cant find any data to replace........" like that. May be I am mistaken. can you please guide me again.

Unfortunately you cannot change the date format because it all text. Work around is on your exported excel spreadsheet, highlight all the dates that you are trying to format and press Ctrl+H function. On the replace dialog box Find what text box type  and leave blank the Replace with text box, then click replace all. This will remove all hyphens and automatically converted to date format.

Hi,
If you do not want to get date in text format, just simply copy data from Primavera by pressing Ctrl+C and paste on Excel .This will give date format.

You have to enter () not ("). Check the first character of the date text and thats character that you need to replace.
