Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi all,

Is there any limitations for spending plan column in P5.

I’m facing some problems while adding spending plans in EPS level..there i can only fill maximum of 48 months plan..
Pls advise.

Hi Sada

It depends from what you intend to do.

- Monthly budget: keep them in EXCEL, run a P3e-report for budgeted and actual costs into Excel, then compare.
- To get actual against planned figures: For my experience this in general was the solution. Create a time-distributed report to compare baseline and actual.
In Germany Spending Plan is very seldom used. I’m very interested to learn a better solution.
