You can connect using ODBC,Access, Excel,SQL, Sybase or any database application your familiar with as long as you have the driver for it. I assummed that you know how to setup your SQL Server into Crytal Reports.
If not then open your crystal report. Select File-> Option then select SQL type. Select the ODBC connection that you want to use.
