Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Can anybody shed some light on the best way to do this? I know this is a stupidly simple question, but right now my colleague and I are at the end of our tether with it. We’ve tried almost every method we can think of, but still P3e stubbornly refuses to paste the copied activities into the destination programme.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How very true. Given that I’m staff here, I really shouldn’t complain but.....

Guilty. But "work" and "NR" should never be used in the same sentence

Cheers Steven,

Did you work at NR in York recently?

Incidentally, I’ve just copied activities in the activity view from one project to another without any trouble.

You do have permissions for both projects, dont you ?

No, it will copy all activities. Just delete those you dont want. Or in your source project segregate the activities you want into a temp wbs, copy to your target and then move source activities back to the original wbs.

Thanks Steven, does this work with partial sets of activities from the WBS?

Open both Source and Target, select Project, Wbs and copy your source wbs to target.
