Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Going through the process at the moment of changing our CMMS to Maximo. Would like to make contact with anybody who is dealing with Maximo 5.2 and P3E. At the moment, we don’t know what happens in P3E schedules when we transfer data to and from these systems.

We are almost finished a generic Work Management System (e.g. Maximo) to P3e interface. Our first customer is a Maximo user, and we are close to customer acceptance.

There are no problems in representing any Maximo data in P3e, the issue is performance in updating the P3e database. The use of Primavera’s API is ESSENTIAL in creating such an interface, and coding it for maximum performance has been the challange.
