There are a few things you would want to check in MSP before you import into P3E: - Resources assigned to summary task (are removed) - Precedence relations between summary tasks (are removed) - Resources assigned to milestones - The initials of the resources in MSP should unique because they map to the Resource ID (by default) Furthermore you would want to use release 4.x of P3E because this has decent capabilitites in this area. I use it a lot and it works real nice once your get the hang of it. Hope this helps, Niek. Log in or register to post comments

Brent,
From the top of my head...
There are a few things you would want to check in MSP before you import into P3E:
- Resources assigned to summary task (are removed)
- Precedence relations between summary tasks (are removed)
- Resources assigned to milestones
- The initials of the resources in MSP should unique because they map to the Resource ID (by default)
Furthermore you would want to use release 4.x of P3E because this has decent capabilitites in this area.
I use it a lot and it works real nice once your get the hang of it.
Hope this helps,
Niek.
