Mangesh,

It shows % remaining of what??

P3 has remaining duration and res/cost percent expended.

It will show you the percent complete and not the % of work remaining.

REMAINING DURATION will show you the no. of days left and not %, while res/cost percent expended will show you zero value, if its not cost loaded.

Hope, i got ur problem correctly

ANYWAY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR.

Thought u must have gone on vacation. N’joi

Also,

Add columns TARGET1 EARLY START and TARGET1 EARLY FINISH, to compare the Target V/s actual dates.

Add one more column of VARIANCE to check the difference in the dates.

Cheers,

Hi Brian,

First assign your target sch. (BASE) to the one u’ll be updating (PROG).

1- Open (PROG), click on "Tools" --> "Project Utilities" --> "Targets".

2- Select the (BASE) sch. from the drop menu - it must be located in the same folder as of your (PROG) sch.

3- Once selected (by pressing OK in the previous window), right click any where in the "Bar Chart" area, and click on "Bars".

4- In the window titled "Bars", click anywhere to add the Target bars (a window appears titled Add Bar Definition), type an appropiate desc. and choose the "Start point/End point" to read the "Target 1 early/late start/finish" by right clicking on the "Early start/finish" and selecting from the drop-down menu.

5- Set the size of bars and endpoints as u want.

6- In the "Add Bar Definition" window, set the position of the Target 1 bars to be #2 (located at top right).

7- Now the two bars should be appearing together in different positions (if the 2 bar sizes aren’t exceeding the row height).

HTH.

Regards,

Karim

Hi Brian,

Could be a few things, check first that your row height is large enough and where you have the PROG and BASE you have nominated to be in different positions.

Cheers.
