Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hello,

After building the project schedule, but before reaching an agreed-to baseline with the client, is it ok to enter progress dates into activities that have taken place in the time between putting the schedule together and reaching the agreed-upon baseline with the client? Or is there a different standard method for doing this?

Hi Jordan,

I'll keep updating the schedule to reflect actuals but without assigning a % complete until the schedule is submitted to the client for approval.

In other words, all activities will appear as Planned Dates but those between Project Start Date and Time Now will reflect reality.
