(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?
(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

When we revise links and add activities to our original baseline to make it revised baseline, how to copy the actual dates from the updated schedule to reflect on the new (re linked) schedule?
Re applying actuals one by one for hundreds of activities is a daunting task. There should be an alternative.

Hi Haroon,
I believe the revised logic, duration changes etc will be done on the " in progress / not started" activities. So it will be easy to do these changes in the current schedule, which already have the as built as of now.
After this you can set this schedule as the revised baseline. Is it logic to make the plan for the completed activities, unless it is for any delay claim analysis.

is the schedule has been maintained and assigned the you can go to Project Maintain baseline and select update then check the update activites areleady in the baseline then select the update options and choose what you want updated in the baseline. If you choose the General activity information box this will update each activity in the baseline. The data that wil be updated is activity name, activity type, duration type, percent complete type, status, calendar, and primary resource.
if you check Dates, duration, and data date: This udate the Original Duration, Remaining Duration, Actual start/finish, Anticipated start/finish, Remaining start/finish, Start/finish, Early start/finish, Remaining late start/finish, Late start/finish, Suspend/resume dates and Data Dates as well.
