Project finish date is not editable. It is the result of logic assigned to activities. You can forced finish date by adding mandatory finish constraint on the last activity but it will gave you wrong float calculation and not advisable.

Your thread title is Dates Constrains and that how I interpret it. Maybe you are looking for Project Window detail-> Date Tab and under Schedule dates change Project Planned Start & Must Finish date.

Activity Window Detail-> Status tab. You should find Constraints section: Primary and Secondary and change the constrain type that you wanted.
