Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

How do you Kill a P6 Session in a Standalone environment

Team, I have a usser that has been locked out of P6 17.8 it is a STANDALONE VERSION and there are issues trying to log back in has anyone had this issue or encountered this before and if so what is the fix to clear the session????

A Little more detail:

 

(This obviosuly only works if you are using P6 Standalone on a PC) - network issues will require an IT Administrator to resolve.

1) Click on Windows START>and type SERVICES

2) In the list of running Services, find SQL Server (SQLEXPRESS), right click and restart this service.

Turn off the Primavera SQL service in Windows Services
