Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hello everyone,

when I creat a report in order to extract the Finish Dates of the Activity IDs and put them in an excel database, activities that are in progress or performed, will be extract in this way:

 PRC-3000/010Completed01-09-14 A15-09-14 A

Activities with constraints, will instead appear in this way:

 PRC-3010/030Not Started10/11/201411-06-15*

Is that possible to remove these letters/codes in order to have always the same layout of the data?

This is how I would like they all appear:

 PRC-3000/030Not Started19/11/201407/07/2015
 PRC-3000/040Not Started08/07/201529/08/2015

Thanks in advance!

Ciao

Nicolò

I do not think your can,but you could try User Defined Fields and Global Change to put the dates into the field or try displayinm other date fields such as Actual and Remaing Dates, but displaying these get problematinc as they either display blanks or the wrong dates. For Example the Early and Late Dates do not display Actual Dates correctly.

If you post the report to Excel you can remove the "*" and "A" by using find and replace.

To remove the "*" you must use the find option of "~*" and thne Excel will specifically look just for the "*". If you do not use this option the all data will be removed. Leave the Replace with field blank.
