Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

In Open Plan you can have User Defined Fields in every resource.

Once practical use of this feature is being able to define different Unit costs.

One can be Internal Unit rate and the other can be Billible unit rate. Or any other rate/resource data you can think off!

This allows flexible Cost/Resource Reporting.

Nice huh!

Using User Defined Fields to model multiple rates is limited to total values in Open Plan. To see/capture Time Phased values for multiple rates you would have to link the Open Plan schedule with Welcom’s Cobra cost management tool.

Can I assume it keeps the extended cost to date by period for each of these rates...otherwise its use is somewhat limited????
